Our Journey
1918
Maharshi Pareshnath Banerji invented Lexin which is widely used for snakebite treatment across borders.
1960
Dr. Prasanta Banerji moved to Kolkata and started his medical practice with 500 patients daily.
1991
Dr. Pratip Banerji started seeing over 300 patients free of cost every day at the charitable clinic his father had set up in Kolkata.
1993
Dr. Prasanta Banerji Homeopathic Research Foundation (PBHRF) had been set up in Kolkata with a vision of making quality healthcare accessible to all.
1998
Banerji submitted successful cancer treatment records to the Institute's Best Case Series Program, supporting alternative approaches and research projects in cancer therapy.
1999
After gaining acceptance of Banerji’s presentation from NCI scrutiny, Dr. P. Banerji’s alternative treatment methods got official recognition.
2007
At the Rutgers Symposium on Lunar Settlements, Drs. Banerji presented 'Possible Use of Homeopathic Medicines for Health Problems during Lunar Missions', hosted at Rutgers University, USA.

Dr. Isha Banerji
Director
Dr. Isha Banerji, steeped in her family's homoeopathic tradition, embodies a deep commitment to caregiving. Under the guidance of her distinguished grandfather and father, she absorbed the essence of healing.
Starting her journey at 23, she became deeply involved with the institution's treatment methodologies. Her formal education in homoeopathy, combined with hands-on experience, formed a strong foundation for her role as a caregiver and practitioner.
For a decade, Dr. Isha Banerji has contributed actively, working with her esteemed relatives and gaining their expertise. Groomed to carry on her family's legacy, she is now entrusted with elevating the PBHRC.
Dr. Isha Banerji's journey is a blend of heritage and contemporary commitment to well-being and the environment.
